Lazy way to sew

It's no secret that I'm lazy. And when I say lazy, I'm not talking about laying around all day and not lifting a finger (which sure would be nice) but I really enjoy looking for the easiest, fewest steps possible ways to do things.
I was at Hobby Lobby (oh how I loathe them) recently and spotted this....

It was in the ribbon section and it's like flowers on a spool. Then I spotted this:
Uhhhhh....hello long lost friend....

Add a few tshirts from Target (because she is still young enough to wear $5 shirts woooohoooo)
and you end up with this

Defiantly not the cutest shirt in the world, but she loves shirts with "M"s on it and I did.not.have.to.sew.

Saaawwweeeeeettttt.

oh no she didn't

Today, being valentines day and all, i thought M. should wear her heart shirt. Except, it was in the dryer. So, being the good mother that I am, I said, "M. can you please go into the dryer and find your heart shirt?"
10 minutes later I hear grunts, groans and sighs coming up the stairs. There is M. carrying up her laundry basket with ALL her clothes in it. Awwwwwwww.....what a good helper!!!

I went to throw some towels in the dryer later in the day and when I opened the door there were all of C.'s clothes in there. At first I was confused as I didn't wash his clothes today. Then I realized......a bunch of his clothes got washed with hers. She had taken all the clothes out, taken all his clothes and thrown them back in the dryer and only brought her clothes up.

That's my girl.

I am so proud....

C. was working on valentines tonight. I made a list for the classroom with all the kids names so that they could fill out their names. I swear I did NOT ask him to do this......but as he would fill out a valentine, he would cross out the name on the sheet. Then when he was all finished he wrote "all done" across the paper. I asked why he did that since the paper was ours to keep. He said, "because I was done." Awwwwww.....he is a little "me".

Homeless bathtub

In our first home we had the tiniest master bathroom ever. And when I say tiny, I mean the size of a postage stamp. There was not a tub, just a shower. If one person was in the bathroom (not in the shower) another person could not come in. Not that you'd want to, but I'm just sayin'.

Anyways, we are now in our 2nd home and we have a HUGE master bathroom. I have this lovely tub that I really enjoy taking baths in and reading magazines.  Doesn't it look nice? I like it.
But....if you look over the edge......you will see this:
It looks like a homeless persons cardboard box....only the homeless is my 4 year old. She has her bed (pillow pet) and food (tea set) and entertainment (music). Nice huh?

Stop smiling pillow pet........
